The interventional radiologists at Centinela Medical Center are using an innovative approach in the treatment of blocked or narrowed arteries in the legs. Initially, as one of only six centers in the United States, Centinela radiologists are using a novel combination of traditional balloon angioplasty and cryotherapy to treat diseased vessels often refractory to traditional therapies.
